Who needs to be involved?

We continue our everyday question series with a focus on collaboration.

Asking powerful questions is part of my everyday life. From coaching sessions to collaborative project meetings, I’ve had the honor of observing and then learning from the best.

As freelance professionals and remote workers, we often work on our own playing every role in the business. That’s why this question is critical for us to ask ourselves, but also for us to remind those we work with – to avoid the issues of ‘out-of-sight, out-of-mind.’
Today’s question:

Who needs to be involved?

stions for success

Whether it’s a decision, conversation, or an event, make sure you have the right people involved. Not only is it essential to identify who needs to be involved, but also when.

Think about the current projects and decisions being made right now in your business (and at home). Have you really thought about all of the stakeholders? Even those on the fringe?

Remember: An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Getting stakeholders involved early in the process is well worth the investment and will avoid a great deal of struggle down the road.
