The young man knows the rules, the old man knows the exceptions.
Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr.

There are rules that apply to the many, and rules we create for ourselves as individuals.
Our personal rules are both known and hidden. They came from our experiences and influence our values.
When to break the rules.
And sometimes rules no longer serve us. Things change. We grow as humans, our experiences and the world differ from when we created some of these rules.
The most powerful are the personal hidden rules.
These rules, if they no longer serve us, are obstacles. They influence our gut reactions and decisions. They keep us from being our personal best. These rules rob you of your happiness.
That’s when it may be time to break the rules.
Find your hidden rules. Challenge them. Break them.
